There’s too much to be done as far as SEO is concerned, because you wouldn’t want to just float around on web space without getting noticed. The following parameters affect search engine rankings severely. Plan your SEO accordingly.
The search bots and spiders often pick up web pages having specific keywords. Make sure you know those keywords. The more near you are to the exact search queries conducted, the more are the chances of getting higher rankings. There’s been some modification to this rule recently and the search bots also pick up pages having related (secondary) keywords. If your desired keyword is “computers”, you should not only have enough of that particular keyword but also related keywords like “software”, “hardware”, “RAM” etc. A very good example of this would be the company Dell Computers. If you input a search query “computers”, the site would have top rankings even though that particular keyword is sparse on the site. This can mean only one thing. Your site should have the most comprehensive content to rank better. Gone are the days of SEOs trying to fool the search engines with content stuffed with keywords. The engines have realized that most often a user wouldn’t get the appropriate information on such sites. Hence this change of rule.
